HOW TO PLAY ARCHER Z

Archer Z is played with two opposing teams. The object is to knock out all of the targets from the opposing field or eliminate all opposing players by tagging them with the foam tip arrows. It's a 5 vs 5 match up and each game is played for about 10-15 minutes.

Each team will try to earn a win by doing one of the following:

  1. Be the first team to knock down all the set targets in the opposing team

  2. Team with the most knocked down target within the allotted time wins

  3. Eliminate all opposing players by tagging them with the soft foam tip arrow or catching their arrows mid-flight

  • When you catch your opponent's arrow mid-flight, that opponent is eliminated. You can then bring in your tagged team mate back into the game to help your team win the game.

  • Head shots or bow hits does not count. Get tag anywhere else, you are out. When tagged, raise your bow in the air and walk to the side of the field.

  • Referees cannot see all the foam tip arrows going across the field; so if you're tagged, call yourself out.

AT THE WHISTLE

  • At the start of the game, each team member starts behind their respective cones.

  • When the whistle is blown, each player runs towards the neutral zone and grab as much arrows as the player can and head back to their side and game on.

    • Neutral zone is a section in the middle of the playing area. When in the neutral zone, you cannot be tagged nor cannot shoot an arrow to the opposing team

    • Opposing players may not cross pass the neutral zone

  • The referee will keep track of the points and will call out the winner after each round is over.

To insure safety to all those playing, only ArcherZ equipment can be used. You may choose to bring your own paintball mask but must be approved by a Silicon Valley Bubble Soccer staff prior to use.
